Empowered by Joi and Psychotherapy Plus, Inc. is proud to present Dying To Be Thin Celebrity Youth Eating Disorder Awareness Red Carpet Gala. This event will be held Friday, June 27, 2014, at Sfixio in Beverly Hills, CA.



FACT: 1 – 2% of Americans suffer from some sort of an eating disorder. FACT: 4% of college-age women suffer from an eating disorder. FACT: While eating disorders are most common among adolescents and young adults in their twenties, children as young as six years old have been diagnosed with eating disorders. FACT: About 20% of those with eating disorders that do not receive treatment will die from the condition.

Just confirmed that our YOUTH will be performing as well for the Celebrity Red Carpet Gala Even on June 27th!!! We will have a live performance by music artist, 12 year old Malachi! Malachi has a deep desire to inspire people to be the best they can be! He hopes that his music inspires, motivates, and radiates happiness, joy and good fun! Malachi has supported the city of Montebello, Pico Rivera, and Ensenada Mex. in feeding the homeless and those in need, he likes to save his good shoes and jackets and give to those children that need them. Malachi has also donated to the missions in Africa recently and now will be contributing a performance to the Dying To Be Thin Youth Eating Disorder Awareness Red Carpet Gala Mixer Event.
